The Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2024, which took place on 26-29 February, brought together global leaders, innovators, and visionaries in the technology industry.

This year’s MWC Barcelona delved into numerous ground-breaking topics and trends that are currently shaping the technology landscape, from 5G and beyond, augmented reality, IoT, cybersecurity and generative AI.

MWC Barcelona 2024 was more than a display of the latest technology; it served as a call to action to address present and future challenges. Recognizing that technological progress cannot occur in isolation, the event tackled pressing societal concerns, emphasizing sustainability, diversity, talent attraction, and collaboration across different technology sectors as strategic imperatives. As the tech space becomes increasingly interconnected, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders will be crucial in addressing forthcoming challenges.

International events are a great opportunity to find partners and peers, to understand the latest trends and to discover opportunities for development. Our participation went beyond showcasing our technological innovations; we also forged connections that laid the basis for future collaborations on the global stage. For each member of this year’s delegation, in addition to the businesses they represented, it was undoubtedly a great honour to show the collective strength of Lithuania’s tech scene.
